Live Fully Again

Restore Your Smile, Health, and Life

Limited diet. A decrease in self-confidence. Difficulty communicating. A loss of teeth can mean a loss of so much more. Drs. Erik and Karen Young, along with our entire team, offer comprehensive tooth replacement solutions to not only restore your health but your oral function, your confidence, and your life. From dentures to full mouth dental implants in Derry, NH, we’ll work together as a team to find the treatment that works with your health goals as well as your budget. With decades of combined experience and the latest technology at our disposal, we’ll help you smile and live fully again, and even sooner than you imagined.

Different Paths to a New Smile

The premier tooth replacement treatment we highly recommend to all our patients is full mouth dental implants. A fixed solution, it is the only option that can restore nearly complete function, aesthetics, and health with longevity that beats the competition. The best part is, it can be done in just a single day. We’ll work together to determine if this option is best for you while also considering dentures and implant supported dentures. Implant supported dentures secure a denture prosthesis to your jawbone using two or more dental implants, whereas full mouth dental implants use four or more dental implants for added security. You can receive any of these options, as well as all aspects of these treatments, right here at Derry Dental Associates.

Three-Step Smile Transformation

Step 1: Personalized Consultation
Before you come in for your consultation, we’ll reach out to make sure you feel comfortable and prepared for your in-office visit. During your consultation, we’ll discuss all of your tooth replacement options and recommend the best solution that fits your unique needs. We do this by first getting to know you and your health. Most patients qualify for implant supported dentures and full mouth dental implants already and if not, they will after receiving treatment from our team. If full mouth dental implants is the best option for you, we’ll use our in-house cone beam CT scanner to capture highly detailed, 3D images of your mouth. Walking you through these scans, we’ll take the time to review what our treatment plan will include and what you can expect every step of the way. Transparency and education are key to our patients’ comfort, so we are more than happy to explain in greater detail any stage of your treatment. Once you and Drs. Young feel confident in your treatment plan, we’ll schedule your next visit!

Step 2: Dental Implant Surgery
When you return to our practice, we’ll welcome you to your own personal room. We’ll make you feel comfortable with a custom level of sedation dentistry treatment. From local sedation to general anesthesia, we’re equipped to make any patient comfortable, no matter their level of anxiety. If you need a tooth extracted or bone grafting placed before receiving dental implants, we are frequently able to offer these services in the same visit, saving you time. Once you and your treatment site are ready, we’ll place four or more dental implants into pre-planned locations in your jawbone. These implant posts will be the foundation for your new bridge of teeth. We use implants made from leading dental implant manufacturer, BioHorizons® to ensure you receive high-quality and predictable results. Each implant is strategically placed to ensure maximum long-term stability and function. They’re also placed with the end in mind, the end being your beautiful new smile. In most cases, we’re able to place your dental implants and a temporary restoration in the same visit. That means you can come into our office and receive a full mouth of new teeth in just one day!

Step 3: Your Smile—and Life—Restored
After surgery, you’ll need three or more months for your treatment site to heal. During this time your dental implant posts, which are made of biocompatible titanium, will bond with your jawbone during a process called osseointegration. It’s this bond that ensures they restore your ability to eat and speak with ease. Once your treatment site has healed, you’ll return to our office to receive your final restoration; there’s no reason to visit multiple practices. We’ll have a new bridge of teeth made specifically to complement your facial features and your personality. Made from high-quality materials, your new teeth will look incredibly natural and will be durable enough to allow you to eat all your favorite foods again. With proper care, your new smile can truly last a lifetime!
